Dedicated to providing our clients and customers with superior quality and service
Located just minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs, New York, and the Saratoga Race Track, The Laffer Gallery can provide services customized to the framing needs of each client, both private and corporate.
Why should I have my artwork custom framed?
Custom framing plays an important role in the preservation of your art or item. We will take into consideration the type of piece you’re having custom framed, where it will hang and what elements it may come into contact with. Based on these factors, we can recommend the best custom framing materials to use.
In addition, matching appropriate framing options with both the piece to be framed and the style throughout the rest of your home represents a crucial part of custom framing. For example, perhaps you live in a modern space but would like to display a more traditional piece of work. Custom framing can help bridge the gap between these two styles and provide a seamless transition between art and environment.
What products do you have available?
We have an extensive collection of mouldings, matboards and glass from Larson Juhl and Decor with many examples to view at the Gallery. If the selection of samples we have on display are not what you had in mind, we can special order an item for you.
How long will it take to have my artwork framed?
Generally, the turnaround time is between 1-2 weeks, however we do offer an expedited custom framing service. Please note, an additional cost may be applied to your order for this service.
I have a sports jersey/vinyl record/needlework/mirror/china plate from my grandmother that I’d like to have framed. Is that possible?
Absolutely! Custom framing provides a great way to display various pieces of memorabilia and other 3-dimensional items. Please contact us or stop in to the Gallery and we can provide you with all the appropriate details.
Are you able to stretch my canvas to be framed?
Yes, we can! We cut our stretcher bars to order and can accomodate the canvas-stretching needs of nearly any size.
What is the best way to begin the process of having my piece custom framed?
We always recommend stopping in to the Gallery for a consultation. Bring the piece of work you’d like to be framed and we would be more than happy to speak with you to discuss your options and specific needs!
