“After 25 years of working in the medium of hand-tinted photography, which for me often involved creating and directing surreal photographic tableaus, I found myself curiously drifting toward mixed media collage as a way to create a contemporary folk art experience. Collage gave me the artistic freedom to curate my dream world in a way that photographs could not. Collage also gave me the means to share it with others.”
