Artist Statement

“My passion for art revolves around resurrecting memories and presenting them in captivating ways through smaller sculptures that evoke people and places, with their identity remaining a delightful mystery. Inspired by the southwestern United States, I embrace a playful approach to memory as I create pieces resembling totemic formations, currently crafted from styrofoam and paper mache. Having cast six pieces in bronze locally, I am eager to expand my artistic vision by bringing these sculptures to life on a larger scale, rivaling the grandeur of the natural spires that inspire me.”
